Wow! I'm actually in disbelief reading through that website. I was well aware of Shez and his "coaching", he is a horrible and petty individual who can only be described as a snake oil salesman. He specifically targets women who are novices to strength sports and manoeuvres himself to appear as the fountain of all knowledge despite lacking simple understanding of training and movement concepts. This often goes hand in hand with disparaging comments towards the OUPLC, rejection of anyone offering alternative advice, and even dismissal of medical professionals when they diagnose injuries! I sadly know far too many women who have been "trained" by him and come away with horrific injuries (some most likely for life) or have been kicked out for daring to question the status quo. It always made me curious how on Earth he was getting away with what he was doing, and it would appear I now have the answers!

My interactions with Catherine Walter on Facebook and via email in the past would lead me to believe all that is written on that website to be true regarding these situations, her personality, and her veiled misandry. What she is doing is bullying; what she is doing is cronyism; and it is all veiled under this guise of empowerment.

I don't know how one would tackle such ingrained institutional discrimination but I am truly glad this website goes at least some way to informing people and hopefully turning them away from that environment.
